Restaurante León is an unpretentious restaurant, with good food, good service and low prices.
When we researched the lower priced restaurants for this guide, we found some truly awful places, but this one is good and we have been back here several times.
The restaurant has a reasonably priced menu and various set menu options, and serves traditional Granadino dishes. It is particularly well-known for its venison.

Try the "menu del día" which is a healthy soup followed by a plate of "habas con jamón" (broad beans with ham), and then a sweet such as a flan, ice cream or fruit.
I normally supplement the "menu" with a plate of chips and wash it down with some beers. Also try out the tapas bar with the same name the other side of the street.
