neighbourhood next to the Albaicín (which was the center of
Granada in Arabic times).

The
Sacromonte is a sunny, cave-riddled hillside at the eastern edge of Granada above
the Rio Darro and opposite the Alhambra. It was traditionally Granada's Gypsy
quarter. Not many Gypsies still live here because most of them moved to comfortable
flats in the city in the days when there was no running water nor electricty in
the area. But by night, when the guitars start to sound and the castanets to "castañear"
the talented Gypsies return to Sacromonte to stage their "Zambra" flamenco shows.

The vacation rental apartment
can sleep up
to four people. There is a bedroom for two people and a sofa bed
for
two more.
Minimum length of stay:
The minimum for 1-2 people is 5 nights.
For 3 people the minimum is 4 nights.
For 4 people the minimum is 3 nights.
Vacation
rental facilities:
A kitchen with fridge,
cooking utensils, eating utensils such as plates and knives and forks,
electric hob, storage space, cleaning implements and dining table.
A bathroom with
WC, wash basin, and a fully enclosed shower unit.
A lounge with traditional
stone tiled floor, sofabed, TV, pleasant views of the valley.
A
patio opens out from the lounge. You can sunbathe and there is
a panoramic view of the Alhambra

Booking:
To book the vacation rental
apartment it
is necessary to pay a downpayment of one third of the full price
in
advance. The downpayment is not refundable.
Other information:
Parking: There
is restricted car access
to the area where the vacation rental is. It
is only possible to enter and leave by car between 14.00 and 20.00.
There
is a car
parking
space 400 metres from the vacation rental apartment and it costs
6 euros per 24 hours. There is a cheap and frequent bus
service that operates beween the centre and the area where the vacation
rental is. It takes 15/20 minutes to walk to the centre.
Wheel Chair Access:
This vacation rental apartment is not easily accessed by wheelchair
and it is not a good
idea for anyone with walking disabilities.
Babies: Due to
popular
demand Toru has bought some baby stuff for the vacation rental. There
is a high chair, travel
cot with blankets sheets etc, moses basket, potty. The charge for
babies is €6 per day. This charge is not calculated in the price
calculator below.
Arrival and Departure:
The official arrival time for the vacation rental is after 16.00
and the official leaving time is
before 12.00 (midday). This allows 4 hours for cleaning if the
house is occupied
on the night before your arrival. It is possible to arrive earlier
than 16.00 but we cannot guarantee that the cleaning will be finished
until 16.00.
