Rick's Cafe is in the Calderería Vieja just across the road from the Lebanese restaurant SAMARCANDA. It is a tea shop and and also a bar which has a strong Arabic atmosphere.

On Fridays at 12pm there is a belly dancing session. It doesn't actually start until about 1pm. There is no entrance fee but there is a supplement on the price of the drinks. There are normally 3 or 4 dancers who dance up and down the bar. It's definitely worth seeing.

We had a great time on the night when we took the photos for this page. After the official dancers had finished, many members of the audience gave impromptu performances. If you are in Granada on Friday you can go to the restaurant across the road and then later come to Rick's bar. There are also many other lively bars in this area.
