The Albaicín is the old Arabic quarter of Granada on the hill opposite the Alhambra. It is characterised by the attractive cobblestone streets, churches, monuments and a certain tranquility and Arabic flavour. The Mirador de San Nicolas is the most famous place because there is a wonderful panorama of the Alhambra.
