The most prestigous of all the hotels in Granada. Situated next to the monumental palaces of the Alhambra, it has magnificent views over the city. Built in 1910 it has captured some of the grandeur of the arabic palaces after which it has been named. There are many restaurants next to the hotel. It is easy to get to the hotel by road from the Circunvalación (ring road). There is a special road up to the Alhambra from the by-pass that allows you to reach the hotel without passing through the centre of Granada. Just follow signs for the Alhambra. To visit the city centre just take one of the very frequent public micro-buses or a taxi. You can also walk to Plaza Nueva, the very centre of Granada, in less than 10 minutes. |
